The Real Bismarck Edit

In May of 1941, the Bismarck and the CA Prinz Eugen set off in Operation Rheinubung. This Operation's plan was to sail through the Denmark Strait to intercept and destroy convoys heading from America to Britain. When they set sail the British quickly found out and set the HMS Hood and the Battleship Prince of Wales to intercept and destroy the Bismarck. After a few minutes of battle, the HMS Hood was sunk by a direct blow to the weapons locker (place where the shells are stored), causing a chain reaction that sunk the Hood in three minutes.

After sinking the Hood, the Prinz Eugen and the Bismarck headed for 'friendly' ports in France. The Prinz Eugen set out on the Operation, while the Bismarck made speed for home. The Bismarck was lucky for a few days, constantly avoiding the pursuit from the British who where scouring the seas for her. Then the luck of the Bismark ran out. They were detected by the PBY Catalina the Carrier Ark Royal sent hundred's of planes to attack her, which after a two hour barrage of torpedoes and shells (the British fleet caught up), the Bismarck sank off the coast of France in the Bay of Biscay.
